What has been happening this week at Being Fibro Mom
My Fibro Journal
When I first started on my road to recovery and healing with fibromyalgia and chronic pain, my physician and therapist recommended that I keep a journal. A journal to track my pain as well as my thoughts at the end of each day. It’s a way for me to release any emotions from the day and send them into the universe. A way to empty the burdens, negative energy, or any other emotion to be rid of them in order to reduce stress and my overall pain. My Fibro Journal. read more
After a positive response from my journal entries, My Fibro Journal now has it’s own website. www.myfibrojournal.com
Target Dry Spray VoxBox Review
Even though they may be a bit (lot) more expensive than the usual deodorant, I need it to feel fresh. I don’t want to walk around smelling like a dirty, unwashed gym bag every time I sweat. I’m happy with my current deodorant, but was more than happy to try the new Target Dry Spray sent to me, complimentary, from Influenster. read more
Cut and Donate Your Hair for Cancer
Then, some years ago, one of my life long friends was diagnosed with breast cancer. When I saw how she lost her hair, and the need for a wig, I needed to help her somehow. She lived hundreds of miles away, but I knew I could help. In past years my mother-in-law had her long hair cut and donated to make real-hair wigs. I wanted to do the same. Cutting my hair and donating it would not go straight to my friend, but it would go to someone that needed it just the same rather it be a woman, man, or child. read more
Drinking in the Silence
We parked at the edge of the water, and watched, in silence, as the boats passed by under the bridge. The view was picturesque as though it was a painting. The water moved with each passing vessel, the clouds whisked the sky in gentle strands, and the trees bowed in submission to the wind. It’s the same boat landing I’ve been to since I was small, but this time would make me look at the familiar place with new eyes, and will always remember. read more
