Learning to manage being a parent and living with fibromyalgia is a cumbersome task. It’s difficult to figure out how to successfully manage the two and you’ll have many failures before finding out what works best for you and your brood. Here’s how it is dealing with fibromyalgia as a mom for me.

Dealing with Fibromyalgia as a Mom

A few years ago, I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Tanya, a fellow fibro mom and blogger. We chatted about coping with fibromyalgia as a mom as well as being a blogger. This interview was published a few years ago and much of it is still the same. However, I am now a single mom and things are a bit different now.

All in all, I still stick with routines after my divorce last year. BUT it’s not as easy as it was once. I’m trying to find our family’s groove again and, like I stated earlier, I will have failures before finding success. Failing is okay because then I know what doesn’t work for us and can move on to find something that does.

This is fibromyalgia though – you find what works and you do that while you can. But then life happens, changes come, and as you transition to new changes, you adjust once again to figure out what works best for you and your family. Remember, you will have failures as you did before, but you will figure it out. And then the cycle will most likely repeat. But that’s okay. But you’ve got this.

Here is my interview about Dealing with Fibromyalgia as a Mom.
