Fibromyalgia Patient Interview

Before the holidays, I was asked a series of question by Anuradha Khanna Pentapalli from her blog, Fibromyalgia Awareness, about my story with fibromyalgia. Everyone’s story is different, unique, and filled with ups and downs as how life is living with a chronic illness.

My daughter was diagnosed with fibromyalgia after receiving the hepatitis B vaccine when she was in college. As a child she had reactions to the Dtp and the MMR. She did not receive the hep B as a child but she was pressured to get it while at college. She had to take a semester off from school. She has learned that her gut health is essential to healing.

Yes, it is. I recently read an article about leaky gut and how it affects those of us with fibromyalgia. I am going to be talking to my doctor about it and how I can go about remedying it.
