I ordered these decorations from Amazon:
- green table cover
- grass table cover
- black square plates
- green square plates
Minecraft Papercraft
And, of course, there has to be Papercraft!
I printed all the templates from:
It took me two days to work on the papercraft. Only the easy and medium levels were attempted, and I made sure to use toothpicks and tweezers to help me. Update: There are now Minecraft papercraft sets available on Amazon for reasonable prices.
Birthday Invitations and Favor Bags
The bags and stickers I ordered from Birthday in a Box were found on Swagbucks, but Amazon now has TONS of Minecraft party favors!!
Included in the bags were:
- green rock candy
- mini Rubix cube
- tootsie rolls
- Minecraft stickers
- pixie sticks
The Birthday Cake
**Update: A Minecraft aficionado politely pointed out that the Minecraft birthday cake is actually square, not round. He is absolutely correct and this will be corrected when my younger son has his Minecraft birthday party in the fall.
Minecraft Party Food
Food used:
- Carrot – baby carrot
- Lava – Colby cheese cut into squares
- Cookie – mini chips ahoy cookies
- Fish – goldfish and Swedish candy fist
- Spawn egg – yogurt-covered cranberries
- Emerald – green rock candy
- Melon – watermelon
